Open Restaurant Applications – COVID-19 Re-Opening Checklist – New York Census

Open Restaurant Applications

NYC’s Open Restaurant Program is expanding outdoor seating options for restaurants to promote open space, enhance social distancing, and help them rebound in these difficult economic times.

COVID-19 Re-Opening Checklist

The Chamber is dedicated to providing dynamic business and civic leadership within the community. This guide is to help your business re-open as NYC continues to enter new phases.

FDA is providing a food safety re-opening checklist for previously closed retail food establishments or those that have been open with limited service related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This checklist addresses key food safety practices for retail food establishments to consider when re-opening and restarting operations. This is not a comprehensive list. We encourage retail food establishments to partner with local regulatory/health authorities to discuss the specific requirements for their retail food establishment prior to re-opening.

New York Census

New York’s Census response rate is at 56.7%, well below the national average.
The census can shape your community depending on who responds. Make sure that you are counted and represented for the next 10 years! Government aid, better infrastructure, and even how many seats NY gets in Congress depend on you!
The deadline to respond to the 2020 Census has been extended to October 31, 2020
